Anne Weeks

Anne Weeks grew up in Mundelein, Illinois. This fall she will begin her fourth year as an undergraduate at Grinnell College, where she majors in Biology and French.  She hopes to pursue a graduate degree in Microbiology.

Anne was accepted into the REU program at UW-Madison and became a member of the Welch lab for summer 2009.  She works with Eric Batlaglioli, is excited about being in the lab, using new equipment, protocols, and figuring out ways of approaching her research and interpreting data.  When not working in the Welch lab, Anne likes to cook (especially crêpes), read, and visit the zoo.
